Job Description:

Facilities Manager – Placentia Mall Inc.

Location: 61 Blockhouse Rd, Placentia, NL A0B 2Y0 – on site. Work must be completed at the physical location; there is no option to work remotely.

Wage: $48.00 to $50.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 to 35 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, full time

Overview

Responsibilities – Tasks

  • Direct and control construction projects
  • Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities
  • Evaluate construction projects when modifying commercial, transportation or recreational facilities and real estate
  • Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate
  • Identify customers' needs
  • Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Plan and organize construction projects
  • Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate
  • Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Promote sales to existing clients
  • Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
  • Recommend products or services to customers
  • Identify and solicit potential clients
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
  • Prepare and administer sales contracts
  • Use sales forecasting software
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
